Hi,
We raised this issue at a recent meeting with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and a letter has now been drafted that Chambers of Commerce can use to support electronically stamped documents with overseas customers/authorities. If this would be useful to you I believe the your local Chamber can request a copy from BCC.
The topic of colour stamps and signatures was also discussed and it was decided that to keep consistency across the chamber network black will continue to be used on EC/UK Customs documents. Don’t forget that all documents within e-Cert can be applied for with original stamps/signatures by using the Standard service.
