Our company has several different trading names which we use when we do our exports.  Does this mean that if we use e-z Cert we will need to have a different company account for each one?

If it is simply a different trading name, and as such you have not needed to complete a seperate formal undertaking with your chamber of commerce, then all you need to do is make use of the 'Exporter Reference File' in e-z Cert to set up as many different trading names as required under the one account.

When logged into your exporter account click on the 'My Database' icon towards the top left of the screen, and then click into the 'Exporters' tab. From here you will be able to add a 'New Exporter', or edit any existing exporters in your account.

When creating an application you simply then need to choose the 'Click Here to Choose an Existing Exporter from My Database' option, and you will then be able to assign your previously created exporter to your new application.

This functionality is not limited to 'Exporters', and can also be used for Buyers, Consignees, Invoice Declarations and Manufacturers as appropriate.

I hope this helps :)
