Hi can anyone help, we get asked this a lot and not sure how to advise.  The date needs to match that of the original document, but how do you override the current date?

Thanks

Nikki

Hi Nikki,

Thanks for using the Community Support Forum for advice on your query.

The date part of the place and date field is completed automatically when the application is submitted.  It is currently not possible for you to over-ride dates customers have entered into Box 13.

  • When an A.TR. is submitted as a replacement the date is automatically completed by the system as the date of submission.  e.g. Submitting a replacement in our test account today shows '10 Oct 2016' in the place and date box on the form.
  • When an A.TR. is submitted as a duplicate the date is automatically completed by the system as the date of the original submission (if the remarks box has been correctly completed to reflect it is a duplicate).  e.g. Submitting a replacement in our test account shows '01 Sept 2016', a duplicate of the A.TR. submitted on 01 Sept 2016.

If the application is not correct you should reject it and provide instructions to the user for correcting.

I hope this helps,

Sam
