Dear i2i,

We are noticing that the majority of Certificate of Origin applications are being submitted with the country of destination in box 2 twice.

Am I correct in thinking that the country which is selected on  'Choose Documents' section is carried forward into box 2?  If this is correct could it be shown clearly into the address box (under line 5) so the user can see that it is already there and doesn't need to be retyped?

Thanks

Hi Lucy

Thanks for your post.

You are absolutely right that the Country is brought through to box 2 after selection as the 'Country of Destination'.

With the simulated document view that the users have on screen throughout completion of their application request, they should easily be able to see the country appearing twice before submitting it to the chamber, and they would be able to go back in to edit the consignee to remove the superfluous occurence.  I guess that it should be considered good practice for the users just to look at this simulated document to check that they have completed it correctly just like I'm sure they would have done with their paper copies in the old days of 'walk ins'.

However, I do take on board your comment about making it more visible, and I will pass this through to our release team who will review this and see if there is anything that they can do for you in a future release.

Thanks again,
Darren.
