The next update to e-z Cert contains product enhancement changes to the exporter website.  The update contains the following changes:
Feature 527 – To help raise awareness of exporters responsibility to check applications before submission a new preview area and tick box has been added to the submit screen.
Feature 654 – For all express applications certificate letters and numbers are now being captured. This will prevent the letters being missed.
Feature 59341 – As per the update to HMRC notice 827 the EUR1 declarations have been slightly amended.
Feature 108 – For applications which only include uploaded documents the Applicant/Exporter can now be selected on the Submit screen. Previously it was set in the background from the default exporter but couldn’t be changed within the application.
In addition to the above changes some performance enhancements have been made in the background.

Thank you.

Feature 654 - WHEN I ENTER THE CERTIFICATE LETTERS AND NUMBERS AND THEN CLICK SAVE, IT HANGS AT THE "PLEASE WAIT WHILE DOCUMENT IS UPLOADING" THEN AFTER 5 MINUTES SAYS THAT THE ERROR HAS BEEN REPORTED?  HAVE BEEN TRYING TO INSERT THE CERTFICATE NUMBER ALL MORNING AND SAME PROBLEM / MESSAGE OCCURS. ARE YOU WORKING ON THIS?

We can confirm that the update was successful, and normal service was resumed by17:30 last night (1st August) with only the very minimum of downtime.

We have looked at Janice's account and she now seems to have gained access to e-z Cert without our intervention, and we are currently in communication with Paul regarding his issue (which so far looks as though it may be unrelated to the update), but if Janice or any other e-z Cert user believes they still have an issue then they should initially contact their local chamber who can then escalate the issue to us if they believe it to be necessary.

Best regards,
The i2i Helpdesk
