Could anyone please tell me what the 'Letter of Indemnity' should say that is issued when using an EC cof O in and Arab state.  I am trying to write a procedure for my job :o(

Hi Nikki

If you apply for an EC Certificate of Origin to an Arab League destination using e-z Cert then an indemnity will automatically be applied. The indemnity is visible on the reverse of page 3 of the EC C of O.

In regards to your specific question, the actual text that we add is as follows:

I/We acknowledge that we have been informed of the introduction and use of Arab-British Chamber of Commerce Certificates of Origin with effect from the 4th October1976.  In consideration of my/our applying for the issue of Certificates of Origin and/or certification of other exports under the European Communities procedure after that date.  I/we acknowledge that I/we will not hold the Chamber responsible for the refusal of these documents by any Arab Consulate, Customs Officer, other authority, negotiating banks or the consignee.
